Karen is a gifted intuitive, and has the ability to read a persons energy to support the skills acquired through her extensive training. She has over 24 years in continuous practice and has a wealth of experience working with a wide range of conditions and supporting change in peoples lives.
Karen originally trained and worked as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist, in the NHS and managing charitable organisations for with children with developmental delay and Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Later on she combined this with her Nutritional skills to advise on gut healing protocols for children with learning disabilities. Karen has specialist experience in working with children with a range of food sensitivities.
To expand her natural healing ability, in the late 90’s Karen became a Reiki & Seichem Master and Teacher, running many training and healing related workshops. Along side this she completed many courses in Dowsing and extensive on site training in the Therapeutic use of Flower Essences.
In 2001, Karen then qualified as a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist with the renowned Naturopath Barbara Wren. She then went on to then gain a further diploma with distinction in Child Nutrition and a diploma with credit in the Identification and Treatment of Allergic and Environmental Disorders from the British Institute of Allergy and Environmental Therapy.
To expand her Nutrition Practice, Karen then completed foundation training in Kinesiology, achieved a diploma in Biochemical Tissue Salts and and became an Advanced Practitioner in Intuitive Anatomy training and Theta Healing.
In 2008 Karen qualified as a counselor and Women’s Health Practitioner which has enabled her to offer specialist treatments for women. She has also completed a 3 year Nutritional Therapy Diploma course with the College of Naturopathic Medicine to further support her Nutritional Therapy qualifications. Enabling her to become a registered Nutritional Therapist and work with Functional Medicine testing and analysis.
Karen is a member of the British Institute for Allergy and Environmental Therapy and the British Complementary Medicine Association.
Over the last 24 years, Karen has written and delivered numerous workshops and seminars across the UK, Europe and South Africa on many healing and nutrition related topics.
She is currently the lecturer and course Tutor for The British Institute of allergy and Environmental Therapy.
And a Tutor and Course Author for “The School of Health” Nutritional Therapy and Anatomy and Physiology courses. (Stroud) – supporting students coming in the field of Nutrition and delivering online training and regular Webinars.
In 2016 Karen wrote the course book “Nutrition for Home, Family and Friends” a guide to the basics of Naturopathic Nutrition for beginners.
