RETREATS to ease into Autumn with Lucy Wright

Sat 9th November
10:00 – 17:00
Forest Retreats, Tintern
This marks the change of season from Autumn to Winter and the start of the darker months. It is when we step into our inner world, welcome more introspection and honour both death and a new cycle. I see it as being about transformation and our connection with things past and gone. It’s the time of year to honour lineage and ancestry – hence the association with Halloween and all things ghostly or otherworldly.
Old rituals would see families lay a place at their table for passed members as a way to remember, acknowledge and welcome them. Thereby keeping a connection to them & broadening this to Great Nature. This Day Retreat will give you the space to slow down and ponder these themes.
I am SO excited about this Day Retreat as it’s the first genuine MAKE and Move offering that includes a craft / art element alongside movement and rewilding. I’ll be collaborating with the hugely talented Olivia Racionzer who will bring her Nostalgic Sewing art form as a way to harness the Samhain energy and honour our ancestors.
Click the link and take a read. I’m currently offering a reduced Early Bird until the end of the month and have visions of this being a cosy, intimate day where you can explore different facets to connect with the season.

This will be a weekend spent IN NATURE in beautiful North Wales at the peak of Spring. This is prime time to gather ourselves, to ready before the onward march to Summer & all of its’ headiness.
We are nature and yet sometimes this notion can get lost. As we lose this connection with the natural world, we also lose our connection to self. We’ll spend our time together reconnecting – with ourselves, with each other and with our natural environment.
If you feel like life is racing along; that you’re busy, time moves fast and you often get to the end of the day/ week/ month and wonder where it’s gone, then this is the weekend for you. This weekend is an opportunity to counter all of “that” – to slow down and tune in.
This weekend literally has everything: yoga, nature, wild swimming, sauna, sound journey, time in community and time to chill. You’ll be looked after so all you need to worry about is whether you want to go for another dip or laze with your book.
Take a look here and let me know your thoughts. There’s a a reduced Early Bird until the end of the month and my vision for this is a weekend lying amongst daisies with damp hair, eating cake; if this sounds up your street then get in touch 🙂
